About Me

Total years of experience - 2 years Languages are known - English, Hindi, Marathi Areas of expertise/specializations - Relationship, Behavioral issues, stress management, family counseling, Grief counseling. Types of cases dealt with and comfortable with - Under relationship I have dealt with clients having problems with their partner or parents and at times having difficulty understanding themselves. I have supported a client who had been diagnosed with OCD a few years earlier and which was triggered due by covid Hobbies/other engagements/interest areas - When I come to think about hobbies I remember this saying, “ before walking we learn to dance, before talking we learn to sing. I am someone who is really into music, I like to listen to music whenever possible from walking to working. Another hobby of mine has been to be mesmerized by the nature. I try my level best to be next to nature and observe its beauty. I like trekking, and sleeping under the star (Stargazing). A short bio about yourself - What if there was a box in your path? The twist is that it is not visible and it is not you, but maybe from where you are looking at the box. As a mental health practitioner, I try to support you to see this invisible box by creating a space in the session with the goal to enable you to see the box by welcoming new or perhaps different perspectives. Quotes you believe in - “People are just as wonderful as sunsets if you let them be. When I look at a sunset, I don't find myself saying, "Soften the orange a bit on the right-hand corner." I don't try to control a sunset. I watch with awe as it unfolds.” ― Carl R. Rogers, A Way of Being Your take on mental health - Think about a straight line, at one end you have mental well-being and at another end, you have a mental illness. Under mental illness, you will have disorders such as Schizophrenia and Dissociative disorders. However, in between mental well-being and mental illness, you have issues relating from relationships to stress-management. This whole straight line, which has three components in them is what in two words is called mental health.
